Hi all:
I have a B.S. in Information Systems and have been a Respiratory Therapist for 13 years. I rec'd my BS in 2002 but previously took pre-med courses (bio, chem, org chem, biochem, calc, physics) but dropped out in my third year. I am unable to attend a post-bac program at this time (distance), but am thinking about beginning to take classes at our community college.

Question: Would you advise this? If so, what classes would you suggest?

on the community college level the only one I can think that might be offered would be microbiology, physiology, and anatomy. My community college doesn't have anything higher than that. You could try to take an online genetics class like at berkley extension.

I graduated with a 3.45 for my BS degree. But, my science GPA during my first college experience was @ 2.6. The grades got better while I was in Respiratory School (don't remember what they were).

I failed to also mention that I took the following from 1982 to 1985:
Bio 1 & 2
Chem 1 & 2
Physics 1 & 2
Calc 1
BioChem
Org Chem
Genetics
Immunology
Micro
Dev Bio

Went to Respiratory school and retook Micro, took A&P, and other classes for respiratory.

Should I take these classes again?
