Question Re Columbia University

Can anybody who might be in a position to be paying loans back and familiar with IBR/PSLF, tell me if time spent as a resident or fellow at Columbia/NY Presbyterian would count toward the required 10 years? I.e. is it a 501c institution? I tried calling a few different departments (HR, etc) but haven't been able to determine this so far. I imagine one of you knows.

NYPH is a 501c3. However, are you directly employed through the hospital? I would assume so as a resident and fellow. I'm not sure how their attendings are hired.

Most of nyps faculty is hired directly by columbia university or cornell but in either case you'll at a 501c.
