Do schools send out secondaries in an order of interest in particular students or a certain level of stats? I see where I have received secondaries at some of the schools I applied at and other applicants have not - but also where others have received secondaries to schools I applied but I have not received a secondary for. The schools I am thinking about are all well within reach with my stats and some in-state and some OOS. Assuming all of these apps were sent out June 29 - what is the reasoning for some applicants to have received secondaries and some to have not?

I would not read into the order in which you receive secondaries, it is more or less arbitrary and very few schools even screen secondaries.

Whomever was assigned to screen your application hasn't gotten to it yet, maybe due to being on vacation, or maybe due to its being at the bottom of a big pile. Or your application was routed to a higher-level screener, for example, as might happen if you had an IA essay that needs reviewing.

It’s not really worth interpreting anything at this stage. Getting loads of early interviews, for example, tells you a lot more about the strength of an application (and the applicant’s strategy/list building) than secondaries will.

Is it appropriate to call an admin office and ask about the status of your primary? I am still waiting on 2 that are important to me and well within my stats yet nothing (others have received theirs).
Also for one particular med school I did receive a secondary invite for but I have the link to the secondary site and when I input my ID and verifying info I am able to access the secondary with some of the basic info already pre-entered. I am fairly certain I didn't miss the invite yet now I am wondering.

Only if you want to be seen as a annoying, overeager, desperate applicant; whats the harm in that?
If you have an actual issue, like an invite link not working, then yes. But you better read their website for any comments on how students should check status. Remember schools get thousands of apps, may have priorities of who they send out to or simply stagger them to smooth out work flow

:nailbiting: Good grief, no then.

You might check SDN's School Specific Forum for that institution and see if anyone else has had the same issue: 2018-2019 Allopathic School Specific Discussions
