I noticed that one of the schools I am interested in requires community service hours for applicants; non-PT related.
From what the University website posts,
I'm pretty sure that they want to see some level of integrity and consistency, and not just a couple isolated events of service.
The thing is, I actually already do community service once a month, albeit only for a few hours. I try to help in blood drives, drug/alcohol rehabs, etc. just cause I was raised to give back.
But as of right now, with everything else on my plate (mainly work and PreReqs), I only realistically can commit to once per month of community service.
Do you guys feel that this is "consistent enough"?
Does once a month carry integrity?
I don't want to look like a scumbag just doing it for myself, but realistically man it's hard for me to do more than that right now!!!
