hey guys a few questions here

1. planning on taking the DAT. how much time do you guys think I will need preparing for it? will 1.5 month be enough?

2. Is there a place where I can check the availability of the test dates without having to input all the information?

That is all for now
thanks in advance

1. it depends on how much you will study every day, how much you already know, and how fast or slow you study/learn. everyone's different
2. i don't know. sorry! 😳

I'm going to add a question about DAT registration -- How long does it take for the application/registration/paying to all go through to completion? And if you want to re-schedule, how much does it cost? in addition to the 200 whatever it costs to take the freaking test.

aforgottenshirt: Takes about a week from the day you pay to get your confirmation number to schedule your test date. Re-sheduling cost an additional $25 and you will need to notify them within 2 business days (by noon) before the appotinment date. Don't forget that that the first 5 schools are free, after that it will cost you to send additional scores to other schools.

zellyen: Depends on your background and studying habits but usually 1.5-2 months of solid studying is sufficient. The best is to gauge your progress with practice exams as you get closer to test day. You need to first sign up for the test to get your confirmation number before you can check test dates. Usually spots are always open, especially if you are registering 2 months from the day you register, lots of open spots. As it gets closer there may be less seats.
