Question regarding experience in USA

Hi
I am volunteering in a dental office since 15 days. But suddenly I need to go back to India within in a week due to some visa problem. I don't think the Dentist will give me the letter, as I volunteered for really very few days. As I don’t have any experience in USA, can I mention this volunteering experience in the application (even if I don’t have any letter from Dentist)?

You cant ask for a recommendation letter from him/her but you can definitely put the experience in you resume.

If she refuses to give me letter, then I wont have any proof that I really volunteered for this many days. will that be fine with the selection committee people?
