I'm moving into pre-med in January. About 5 years ago, I took inorganic chem1/lab1, biology1, and microbiology. I had a C in chem and B's in bio/micro. Our inorganic chem2/lab course uses the second half of the same chemistry book.

My question is... considering I currently remember *very* little of any of these courses, I believe I have two choices:

1.) Take my first pre-med semester and spend it re-taking these courses. I believe I'll get A's, so I could boost my science GPA doing this.
2.) Use the college books to go back over everything in the courses and refresh my knowledge before I start in January, cutting my pre-med to 3 semesters, or allowing me to use semester 4 to take higher level courses like bio-chem, genetics, etc.

It's been quite a while since I've taken a bio-science course. I have a bachelors in business (3.2 gpa) and got halfway through my graduate MBA courses with all A's (so 4.0 graduate GPA) before deciding medicine is my path. I don't really know how much the later courses depend on the knowledge of the beginning chem, bio, and micro courses.

Seeking recommendations based on past experiences, if anyone can offer any advice. Thanks in advance.
