Hey guys,

I just got my GPA verified today:

BCP: 3.39 +/- 3.37 wo +/-
Science: 3.24 +/- 3.21 wo +/-
Overall: 3.03 +/- 3.00 wo +/-

I'm really worried about my overall GPA, i know it's low, but I was hoping my other GPA would be weighed more.

Also, I'm taking my DAT next week, if I got in the 20's for all the sections, would I have a chance?

I also have 3 more science classes that I will take which are biochem, anatomy and physio. I'm pretty confident I can get an A in all three, so hopefully take can bring up the overall to at least a 3.1...

It seems to be the general consensus on this forum that science/BCP GPA is weighed more heavily, considering it is after all a science-based profession. Try to aim higher for the DAT scores. That way you can actually land scores that you want 👍

Definitely do this. I have a slightly lower BCP and science GPA and got a 20AA/21TS and don't get me wrong, I am proud of myself, though wish I had strived for higher scores. I thought the test was going to be much worse than it was and aimed for 20's across the board. Higher DAT scores means you will be that more competitive, plain and simple.
