Question regarding GPA

ex. if I got a C in Chemistry, and retook it and got an A.
Will pharmacy school look at the average grade ? or just the better grade ? Thank you

Can someone shed some light on how the GPA calculated ?

Hi There,

Looks like you may have posted in the wrong forum(pharmacy). However, I apologize if I am wrong. The answer in regards to GPA in pharmacy school is "It depends on the school." Which schools are you applying to? I know University of Washington, School of Pharmacy takes the higher grade.

There are exceptions, but I heard that most schools take the average. So if your chem course was 4 credits, then I think you'd have averaged a B for 8 credits.
