Hey guys,

This might be a silly question since I've been up all night for whatever reason.

On PCOM's website, under the LOR sections it says this:

"• Fulfillment of the Letter of Recommendation requirement which is as follows:

- A letter of recommendation from your pre-health or academic advisor/committee (undergraduate, post-baccalaureate or graduate programs)."

Does this mean that only 1 letter from my academic adviser will suffice? I don't need a committee letter?

I am not sure that I totally understand the directions either but I was told that if you have the option for a committee letter you should get one. In fact, I had three secondaries that asked specifically whether I opted out of a committee letter and if I did then why. Also, if you have a committee letter, which at least in my case contains full letters from the people writing recommendations, then you just have to have the one letter for every school you apply to except DO, since you may want different letters for those schools.

I called them and they said I just need my academic advisor's. I've been out of school since 2011 and the pre-med committee will want a reference from a non-science prof. None of them will remember me lol...
