Question Regarding LORs

Hi all,

Would it be considered a red flag to have the majority of my LORs related to research? For example:

1. A Physician PI whom I currently work for and shadow
2. An undergrad professor / PI
3. A PI I currently work with
4. Another PI I currently work with*

Letter 5 comes from a professor with whom I used to TA for extensively, and is unrelated to research.

I am considering whether or not to include letter #4* on the basis of my app becoming too research-heavy. I don't currently have the letter, but it can be given to me within 1 week. I also know that #4 will write extremely positively about me. I should note that I am aiming for some research-heavy schools.

Is my concern reasonable? Does anyone have any wisdom to share on this?

It depends on your school list and any specific comments those adcoms have regarding LOR requirements.

There are schools with LOE requirements that specify the exact type and number of letters.
Others permit wide latitude.
It's all in MSAR.
