1) What is the correct order (first --> happens last) : gamete formation, meiosis, mitosis, fertilization?

2) Also, there was a question I came across that stated that I believe a community consists of species W,X,Y,Z, what is their percentage of heterozygosity? (25,25,25,25), (80, 45, 15, 5)... etc? I can't remember the answers off the top of my head

isn't gamete formation the same thing as meiosis?

I thought gametes were formed after meiosis was completed, like in oogenesis. After meiosis an egg is formed. I thought the order would be mitosis, meiosis, gamete formation, then fertilization. Idk for a fact

1) The first question is confusing cuz it doesn't tell you when to start and it's a cycle rather than a liner process. I guess it starts with Meiosis---->Gamete Formation------>Fertilization------>Mitosis which develops the zygote into a fully grown adult.

2) I came across this problem just yesterday on destroyer. I guess a sample with highest heterozygosity is the one that has most different amount of species in it. So the answer was the sample with 25% of each species. This sample had the most diverse % of species and this it has the highest heterozygosity.
