Hi guys I was wondering what would happen if I fail to complete a prereq before I graduate with my bachelor's?

As in you just didn't take Course X, that was a pre-requisite, and now you've graduated with your degree and therefore can't take the course at your alma mater?

Easy enough... go to a CC and take it there. If you can't take it at a CC, then look at Open Campus/Open Enrollment at your university. If that, too, doesn't work... then... depending on what pre-req it is, it might be fulfillable through an online/distance pathway.

You're much better off taking the prereqs before graduation as you qualify for more financial aid/loans prior to achieving a degree. You can still do it after graduation, but sometimes you have to pay cash, depending on the school.

There are also some public schools and community colleges that are restricting access to their campuses for people with previous degrees due to budget constraints. Just something to consider.
