Hey,

Most secondaries ask what you will be doing in the 2009-2010 year. I am currently applying for research positions, but I have not landed one yet. I want to send out most of my secondaries my next week. Is it ok if, under this question, I just put that I am currently applying for jobs in research and plan to be working their full time? or do I assume that I will land the position and just tell them that I am working full time as a research assistant? Any suggestions would help. thanks

I'd just put that you're applying for research positions. You never know if something awesome but completely different will come along, and then you won't have overcommitted yourself.

Plus, I'm not sure it matters much to the adcoms. Those two statements both read like you're going to be doing some research; which is probably what they'll assume.
