Can I mention my personal dental experience and the non-dental activities in my personal statement? I know there are fields in the application for mentioning the experience but I'm wondering about the personal statement

The personal essay provides an opportunity for you to explain why you desire to pursue dental education. So if your non-dental activities help explain your desire then yes include them.
