Question to those accepted to NOVA?

Hi you guys, i have a question for all of you applying or accepted to NOVA! i interview there last october, they have all my scores and all my paper work ready. They place me as a "hold" student... what i think is that if they cant fill their space theyll accept me but for now they are taking people better than me... anyways... over sprin\g break i receive a paper from them with a pin niumber and with that i can access resgistration, financial aid etc...
i was wondering if there is any one out there who has receive that from them? those of you who are accepted already did you get before or after your acceptance letter? i dont know what it mean? 😕
anyways if there is any one out there who can clear my confusion i will greatly appreciate!

Hey, I recieved that letter the other day too. But I was accepted in December. So I dunno what that means for you. I'd call and ask Fran. She'll know.

Hey ODGrl25! I was also put on hold at NOVA, and received that letter also. I certainly believe that we have a very good chance of getting accepted. Like Fran says, think optimistic. Every thing is going to work out. How where your stats? Did you get in anywhere else? I am hoping to hear from them soon. They had sent me an acceptance package and everything, but scored a 290 and put me on hold. I hope they don't wait to accept us until the class is almost filled. What is ypur opinion on the situation?

Never go wondering what they said and what they meant. Talk to Fran Franconeri, she is wonderful and will explain everything and give you heads up on where you stand. She is great and my advice is to talk to her. Good luck hope to see you at Nova this year.

I also have a 290 on my oats but i have an awesome gpa which makes me think I still got a shoot. I got in to OSU as an alternate student to ICO( whatever that means) & PR of course. Obviously I only want to to go to NOVA because I was born and raised here in FL. I think what they are doing now is getting 300 and above. At least thats whats Frans says all the time. Think optimistic 🙂 ....... I have a feeling they'll make us wait til the day before school starts but I dont care as long as they accept me. Any ways keep me update on you situation

You're asking the wrong person. I am a pharmacy student, not an optometry student. However, Fran deals with all departments at Nova Southeastern.
