Question to UDM students!!!

Hello,

I was waitlisted at UDM and this school is my top choice!!!
So do you guys know how many people got accepted off the waitlist in your class?
Anyone had pre-dec interview and got waitlisted and later accepted off the alternate list?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I was accepted off of the wait list and I was not even interviewed until almost Easter. If you have been waitlisted early then I would say that there is a pretty good chance that you will be accepted. The thing with Detroit is that it is expensive and well... its Detroit and a lot of people are put off by that and will end up dropping their spot if they get in elsewhere. So to reiterate, quite a few of my classmates were accepted off of the wait list. Also, they are going to have a pretty large incoming class this year so that works in your favor too. One thing to note though: the wait list is ranked, so someone added after you might still be ahead of you on the list because they liked them better. Keep your head up though. Don't be afraid to call and check with admissions either. It doesn't hurt. I hope this helped. Good luck!

FYI - They told us at my interview in November that the wait list at UDM is NOT ranked. Either it changed, or they were lying. Both are equally possible I suppose.
