What could you infer when a school indicates that you are complete( >1month ago notice), yet you haven't gotten any email or letter with regards to your plight. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Pls guys what do you think?

it all depends on the school. a long wait usually isn't good, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything. some schools have barely been interviewing for a month, too. think about it, let's say a school has been interviewing for 4 weeks, twice a week, 10 people per day. that's only 80 people, and most schools interview several hundred. not everyone can be first.

btw, where is it?

I think it's either:
1 - hasn't been reviewed yet (each school gets thousands of applications)
2 - has been reviewded and they haven't made a decision if you should get an interview or not so they put you aside to go over your file again another date (i.e. you application is on hold)
3 - if it's Wake Forest, they may just be waiting fo ryou to call first, judging from the recent Wake Forest posts lately
4 - the decision is in the mail and you just haven't gotten it yet

If you're worried give the school a call. Most of the admissions staff are really nice and will be glad to quickly check hte status of your file.

well, they should be. sometimes they're great (case, cincy), and some of the women i've talked to think they'll have to give birth to a baby elephant to help you. don't let that discourage you, though--if wanna know call 'em!!

Thank you all for your input.
