hey guys im new here, and first I want to say thanks for being so helpful

anyway here's my question:

im a junior right now and my school requires me to go through an "interview process" with them first and then i apply to Dental School. They require me to have recommendations from professors and two of the professors have not sent in the recommendations yet its been two months since i have asked them, and the recommendations are due soon, but I cannot get in touch with either of the professors.

I am worried about it because if I don't have my whole application ready, I cannot go through the interview process. Should I wait for the recommendations and apply to Dental School on my own if my school won't help me out? because my GPA is high and im going to try to get acceptable scores on the DATs...sorry if i confused anyone, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Almost everyone has to go through the same set of crap. I ran into similar problems. If you're applying for 2007 cycle I wouldn't start worrying yet. You still have time. I know it's a pain in the a$$ to do all of the crap for your school and then do it again for the dental schools but it looks kind of weird if you don't get a packet from the pre-health committee at your school. Just keep hounding your professors. You don't really need to start worrying until May.
