do you guys thin that pharm schools look down on using prep courses for the pCAT that give you a advantage?

How do they know what you do, and why would they care that you studied for the test. Interviewers don't look down at you for studying organic chemistry and making A's in those classes, do they? It's the same for the PCAT. Plus, I don't think they will ask you anything about the test in the first place.

It's not a question of being lazy, because you can still do poorly on the test because you don't know WHAT to study. This is why prep classes exist.

To answer your question, it probably makes no difference to the schools because what you did is not considered to be cheating. Just be thankful that you won't have to take the PCAT again if your score is impressive, and try to focus on other elements to make your application more competitive.
