Can an average student (mostly B's, few A's) from a top school (top 20) get into a good dental school?

This is exactly the opposite of TMI.

based on what you've given us to judge you, the answer is most definitely, a maybe.

Generally speaking, what school you go to, top 20 or top 200 doesn't make a major difference in the decision. Of course it matters, but as a hundred people before you have asked and heard from the people on this site, it doesn't usually matter that much. Other parts of your application - experiences with dentistry, DAT scores, extracurricular activities, leadership experience, research, personality, state of residence, letters of recommendation, personal statement, etc. - all probably weigh more heavily at most dental schools on your possibility of acceptance than the school you attended.

That said...work harder to bring up the GPA and make sure the other parts of your application are great and you will have a pretty good chance of getting into dental school

yes, if your DAT is high and you interview well.

Yes. Anything is possible. You'll need to figure out which schools are "good." You'l also need to do well on the DAT.
