Anyone know the best field to go into, before going to pharmacy school. Something that would help..or take care of some of the classes...like nursing..etc???

Anyone know the best field to go into, before going to pharmacy school. Something that would help..or take care of some of the classes...like nursing..etc???

I am graduating with nursing degree on Aug 24 and then attending a pharm school on aug 27.
I do not think nursing degree help a lot. But, there are some advantages of already being a health care professional before applying for pharm school.
I think getting MBA would be more fruitful. Or degree in Economics.. or just chemistry classes might help.

I would say any science degree will be beneficial, pharmacy school is mostly biology, biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. If you have a good idea of how the body works and you're cool with chemical structures you'll be fine.
