I won't be applying until next cycle, but I have a question. I heard Tufts doesn't even look at applications until fairly late, so does it give me any advantage by sending in my application on May 15 if they won't even look at it until much later? Because if that's true, I might as well take some spring classes to try to beef up my GPA and then send my application.

Thanks.

To be honest, it can never hurt you to apply early

1. You probably will be applying to other schools who aren't like Tufts and do their reviews early
2. Even if they do their reviews later, they will probably do them in the order they were received.

Good point...but Tufts is my top choice and I will probably only be applying there, NYU, and Michigan.

FYI, I have 21/22/18 DAT + 3.4 GPA

I think you should apply to more schools.

I think you should apply to more schools.

I can name a dozen people who were cocky with their high scores, only applied to 2-3 schools, and are now reapplicants. You are not guaranteed in with your scores. You should apply to at least 5, I'd recommend 10, unless you are willing to reapply the year after to get into one of those three schools. Do your research into schools, consider adding Boston U., Columbia, Buffalo, Temple, ect..
