If I go to say, LECOM-B and I want to rotate at a MSU-COM site is that possible? Or rather should I say is that common/probable?

I dont think its common, but i believe if you go through the effort you can set up some of your own rotations. You probably will have to do core rotations at LECOM-b affliated hospitals.

That is what elective rotations are for. You need to apply for the rotation early (like 8 months in advance), but I have many friends who are doing the same kind of thing.

there are cores in the michigan area that probably share with MSU. I don't know which specialty you're looking for but there were quite a few if I remember right. I didn't do any rotations in that area so i didn't pay too much attention to the list.....overall it shouldn't be a problem

Yea, I think we have a couple students in my class that are going back up north to MI for most, if not all, of their rotations.

Not sure about MSU-COM locations specifically..... depends on if they allow "outside" students to rotate their during 3rd year or not.

For the most part your cores have to be done with LECOM-B affliates, and there are some affiliates up north (I wasn't interested in leaving FL so I never looked into them), but it IS possible to pretty much set up your own and cores elsewhere, just requires some more work on your part and there are a few other requirements that need to be met.
