Do medical schools not accept general education classes (such as general chem and bio classes) with ap credits?

if they don't, what are examples of some med schools that do accept them?

There are many top schools that will refuse AP credit as a substitute for pre-reqs, but majority of them will accept. However, I will caution that med schools prefer that you retake all or at least most of your pre-reqs just for the sake of proving you can get a decent grade in these courses.

I can't list all of them, but best way is to go to the admissions sites for the schools you are interested in and see what their policies are.

I see

Do you recommend that I do it anyway?

It's probably best to just re-take any pre-reqs you've already covered through AP credit. Since you've already seen the material, they should be an easy A in any case.

The problem is it is too annoying and too much work!
