Hi guys,
I have a question, I'm going to be a h.s. junior and I'm going to go into medicine as a career. Any advice about classes, extra-cirriculars, undergraduate schools?
😕 I really need some help. I'm going to go to school in Virginia, but I have no idea where I want to go. Did anyone here attend undergrad. in Va? If so, please let me know how it is/was. Also, did all of you have problems like I do with parents not wanting you to go into medicine and pretty much hating the fact that you enjoy volunteering at a hospital and wanting to be a doctor? 🙄 It's starting to really annoy me.
Thanks so much.Lindsay😀

you've got lots of time. do stuff you ENJOY. if you truly enjoy volunteering and stuff, great. maybe you could find something you enjoy that involves getting paid... but seriously, keep your grades up and enjoy high school. you'll get into college. medschool won't even care about what you did in high school 😉

why are your parents not excited about you going into medicine? is it the $ (there are scholarships available..) or the field? keep your options open, cause you might change your mind in college about what you want to do....
