Hello, I am UVa student who is applying this year!

I have several questions concerning about this application process.

My overall GPA is 3.386 as of now. I took DAT last december and here is my score.

PAT 20, QR 20, RC 24, Bio 18, GC 19, Orgo 30, Total Science 20, AA 22.

I believe I have excellent LoR from my dentist, but I am unsure about the one from my professors and prehealth advisor.

I have around 100 hours of shadowing. I volunteered through Greeter, CA$H, project MOM and INOVA physical therapy center.

First question: Do I just need to say I took DAT and type in my Dentpin on AADSAS? They automatically gets it from Prometric, right?

I am thinking about applying 8~10 schools.
Here is the list so far.

VCU, Maryland, NYC, Temple, BU, UoP, USC, Louisville


Second question : Which schools should I add and drop??


Third questino : I really want to get into VCU. If I apply early, what is my chance in your opinion?

I don't understand "what are my chances?" at this point. You have done everything you can do, just apply and hope for the best. I'll arbitrarily tell you that you will get in if it makes you feel better until you get a verdict in a few months.

As far as your list: It looks good so far, except it's NYU not NYC (NYC is a city). I would maybe add Tufts as well.

Did you do any coursework at a community college? Be aware that some schools (BU, Tufts, Temple) are strict about that...

Yeah, I guess I am just too nervous about it. That was really dumb question. haha

I have never taken any courses outside of UVa.
