I just have a question about my major. I currently taking a biomedical engineering curriculum at Tulane. My GPA is hurting a little (3.44)because of how tough the classes are.
Do you think that admissions will look at this as a small drop in GPA? Also I AP'd out of two semesters of biology, which I know most schools wont except, but I'm taking a year of Physiology and Anatomy at the Med Schoool down here which is part of the curriculum for my major. I'm also taking classes like Soft Tissue Mechanics, Bone Mechanics, Cell/Tissue Enginneering and a couple of other classes pertaining to the human body, will these classes count as the year of biology? Thanks

It depends on what med school you want to go to. Some medical schools are a little more understanding about lower GPA's due to tough majors. Make sure to do well on the MCAT -- have you taken it yet?
