Hey guys

If lets say you are planning to take DAT in august but you e-submit now, How would schools actually know that you will be taking DAT ?

I am asking because no where in application you indicate that you are taking DAT or even re-taking DAT.

Merci

The schools will get your score once you take the test and review your entire application. Just schedule the test and choose the schools which you will release your scores to. It will be sent there once you have completed your DAT's.

isn't there a part in ADDSAS that asks about this? I don't remember exactly....

If you are taking it for the first time, then you don't need to indicate when you will take it and e-submitting now will not help you by much, because schools will only start reviewiing your file once everything is complete!

Now if you are retaking, you will need to call up each school and notify them individually that you are planning on retake, doing so will put your app on hold until the schools have received your new DAT score.
