I am looking for immigration to the US.

i know the best way to get the license is enter the international dentist program. However, sometimes i am interested in majoring specialty promgrams like prosthodontics etc.

i checked the homepage of Rochester out and found AEGD program accepts the internationally trained dentist and That let us ready for the NY board.

MY questions are as follows;

First, International student admitted into the AEGD should pay for the tuition or be paid for the salary like other traditional students?

Second, Some state of US (like Texas) give the license to the person who got the certificate of specialty program accredited by ADA. i know that i could live in the New-York state as a dentist after finishing AEGD of Rochester. But, how about Texas state or other regions of US? Is it only about NY?

pls, answer me, Thank you for your advice and reply.

To answer your 1st Q : As of 2011 no tuition is asked for the AEGD course nor are you gonna be paid any salary.

to answer your 2nd Q: The course completion is good enough for all the states that accept a 2 yr program in liew of a DDS/DMD course... be it in Texas or NY or any other state that allows the path.

hope this helps

answer was good, thank you.
