I know that there are BS/MD programs that are combined into a 6yr period, but are there BS/DO combined 6yr programs i havent heard about any i was wondering if anyone else has..

Please give me so info...thanks

Please do a search on this subject.. it has been discussed at least 2 or 3 times this year.

If I remember correctly, TCOM in Fort Worth and NYCOM in New York have 7 year BS/DO programs.. I seem to remember something about MSUCOM as well, but I may be smoking crack about this one.

BTW, all the programs I've heard of are seven (7) and not six (6) years in length.

best of luck

jd

NSUCOM offers a dual admissions program BS/DO that can be finished in 7 or 8 years from the time you enter undergrad.

NYCOM has a 7 year BS/DO program with NYIT, my son is in his first year. Also, Nova/NSUCOm have both a 7 year and 8 year

What does your son think about it? I had a family memeber in it and he hated it. A lot of the kids transferred out and/or did not make it to medical school.

Yea, NYIT/NYCOM have a combined program. 3 years undergrad and then off to medical school if you meet the requirements.

I believe NYCOM also has a 7yr program with SUNY New Paltz. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't hurt to look into it.

Yes, I think starting in 2006. A friend of mine said he was starting this Fall.

He is in the first year at NYIT, has two more to go then four in NYCOm. So far he is happy, as a father thats all that I care about. He had also been accepted to the nova/nsucom school, well accepted but had to go through the interview process for that school. He choose the nyit/nycom becasue he felt that he would have better internships and all.

hey guys, anyone know if these accelerated programs accept students who have started college already, i started college already but attended part time for a year,
