I got accepted into Lecom-E LDP pathway but wondering whether to switch into PBL in fear of the time crunch I would experience when studying for the exams/quizzes and boards. I heard PBL students only have 3 exams but can anyone tell me how they are tested differently from LDP. Are the questions multiple choice and based on pt case studies? Do they get any outlines or objectives like in LDP directing what to study? Or do they just read the book based on the relevant subject and come to class and discuss about it. Then what would be the role of facilitator?

Also, can anyone comment about the quality of clinical education offered by Lecom-E? I would appreciate any feedback from 2nd, 3rd, 4th yr students or recent graduates of the school. Do you think students get a chance to rotate in good clinical sites and how would you rate your experience there? Many thanks in advance.

PM HockeyDr09 as he went from LDP to PBL at LECOM-Erie and he should be able to help you out. If you do a SDN search on PBL at LECOM , you would find tons and tons of information on how it works.
