I haven't been able to find much of anything about surgical sports medicine. I'd like to hear anything anyone has to say about life as an orthopedic surgeon trained in sports medicine. How does the lifestyle compare to other surgical lifestyles--general orthopedics, spine surgery, etc?
Also: Future of the specialty? General satisfaction? Compensation? (And, please no lectures about greed and money. If all I wanted were money, I'd be getting an MBA or JD. Money isn't everything, but it is a thing.)
