I will be attending OCPM this fall (class of 2012) and was wondering if it would be useful to invest in a pda, such as a PalmOne device or handheld PC? I would much rather carry around a small pda to take notes on than tote my laptop to classes. Anyone have any recommendations? Should I get a pda? Thanks!

I have a pda and it is great for organizing assignments/readings/tests and day to day stuff but I dont think of it as a replacement to my laptop. Have you tried to take notes on a PDA before? Even with a keyboard it would be a huge excercise in futility. I suggest against using it to take notes.

Dude, I already told you at work not to buy one. Listen to me. Nobody else matters... much love- Pwog

Don't get one, you don't need it, plus all those companies will be out of business soon... get a blackberry or a iPhone. chicks dig the iPhone.

I had a Palm TX with a fold out keyboard and it was such a waste of $400. I thought I would be taking notes on it as well and I was mistaken.

Not to mention that Palm is a piece of rubbish.

Yeah...palms are for those weirdos that like solitaire while wasting time... lol JK!!

Iphones ok, so overrated, so overpriced. Apple's in general but thats my opinion haha.

I have a palm phone (not saying its much better but i got a great deal on it) and I stored my entire schedule into it, which came in very handy. Other than that, you don't really need a palm. Unless you wanna play videogames in class sometimes or chat haha.
