Do we have to know anatomy, like names of bones and muscles?

I was just studying Human Anatomy and Physiology by Marieb. And it goes into alot of detail regarding the skeletal, Muscle, and nervous system. So if anyone who has taken the DAT, could you please tell me if it is that detailed?

i don't think u need to know specific bone and muscle names..but the general stuff like knowing axial vs appendicular skeleton, know the differences between joint, insertion, know the three types of muscles: smooth, skeletal, cardiac

yes you have to know them down to the class. I don't think they're going to let you get away with just knowing Arthropods and nothing else in detail 😀 They want you to know everything from Crustaceans to Insects and examples of each along with sexing it and the general anatomy of each.

Also, think about it, if you were to classify humans and let's say kangaroos. We're both in phylum chordata ... haha so of course you need to know your classes! Hope that helps...good luck studying! 🙂
