Questions about toxins and antidotes from first aid

On page 239 of 2013 FA, it lists antidotes to toxins, i'm confused about some of them. Can someone explain these to me please?

Why use lidocaine [Na channel blocker] to treat digitalis toxicity [na/k pump blocker]?? And how does Mg2+, and normalizing K+ treat digitalis poisoning? [couldn't find it w/ googling]

And why NaHCO3 for TCA?

Lidocaine, Magnesium, and/or Potassium are given during digoxin toxicity to help treat any arrhythmias that could arise due to inhibition of the sodium-potassium pump, until you can properly treat the problem with anti-digoxin antibodies.

NaHCO3 is given to help correct the metabolic acidosis caused by TCA overdose.
