questions about using CMMRS and Baby Katzung

Pharm and Micro were taught horribly at my school and I completely underestimated this when I began some of the relevant questions. So I need to go back to some textbooks.

I compared at the bookstore the lippincott vs Baby Katzung (the Trevor/Katzung Examination Board Review 8th edition 2007) - seemed the baby katzung had better wording and graphs from FA.

I looked through the index of Baby Katzung - are there any chapters we can completely skip out from reading? I can see how I might be able to put this into systems later.

Second - about clinical micro made ridiculous 4th edition, for those who have read/used - I really didn't see how I can divide it up via system, how long would it take to read if you broke it up into pieces -

I don't have the answers to your questions but I would second using these 2 books. They are really excellent reviews, esp. the micro book (if you find mnemonics a helpful memory aid).

Thanks for writing back. I thought these would be the best too. I've been going through some of the kaplan videos and now I feel like I should stick to their notes. To add, FA, Goljan and HY Neuro but will look up the relevant areas (primarily ANS from baby K) on the above two books.
