This may be a dump question for most people but the US medical school system is really strange to me. So I really wanna know what exactly people learn in their clerkships in a detailed manner? Like do they really get hands on operations on human or anything else? Are there lectures during that time? How exams are done?
And are what they do in clerkships different from what residents do?

My school did have lectures for all the third year clerkships. But they were just a few hours a week, most of the time you see on your rotation.

Third year students should be obtaining thorough histories, doing detailed thorough exams and figuring out how to appropriately communicate the information from those two sources in written and oral format. So yes, you are touching patients and participating in surgeries and catching babies.

As a resident you are learning and refining patient management. The specifics vary quite a bit depending on specialty. And there is some overlap, a great sub-i will frequently outshine an off service resident in specialty specific stuff.
