Questions for a Clinical Pharmacist ( can be a resident)

Hi all, I am currently in pharmacy school and trying to decide what to do with my future. If anyone could answer some questions that I have I would greatly appreciate it.
General Questions
1. How long have you been practicing pharmacy?At this site?
2. What is the daily Rx volume of your operation? Or, Number of beds in hospital?
3. List the various pharmacy services that your pharmacy provides.
4. What are your primary responsibilities in your position?
5. How many individuals and who are the individuals you supervise (formally or informally)? To whom do you report?
6. Have you ever been provided any mentoring or training/guidance with respect to managerial roles? How prepared would you feel to take on a managerial role?
7.Give three examples of “managerial” decisions that you have to make in your position on a regular basis?
8. What role do you play in any cost-containment (control) efforts of the pharmacy (if there are any)? How important do you think are these efforts for the success of your pharmacy?
9. What aspects of your roles/functions do you find most rewarding?What aspects do you find most challenging?
10. What is your advice/recommendation (if any) with respect to preparation for a “managerial”role in a pharmacy practice career to someone like me currently in school?

1. 1 year residency, 1.5 year work so like 4.5 year?, at current job 1.5 year
2. i don't know volume we don't verify orders, #bed 350ish
3. vancomycin, aminoglycoside, warfarin, lovenox dosing, tpn dosing, id stedwardship, automatic renal dosing (i dont have to call anyone)
4. 2 days infectious disease, 2 days IMCU, 1 day ED
5. I dont supervise anyone, i report to manager and also director
6. on the job not really, from resident may be a month but i hated it so i mostly drone out whatever it was they were saying cause its boring as hell, i'm not prepared for managerial role
7. Should we order this drug?
8. iv to po, high cost antibiotic review and its pretty important as far as cost saving
9. being able to use what i learn in school/residency, keep up with literature since there is always new things coming out Sepsis 3 etc... challenge is working with a load of really bad doctors in my hospitals that really needs to retire but that also mean i have pretty good job security as i know if i quit **** will hit the fan
10. dude if you want managerial do an admin residency, its boring as hell from my perspective but that is obviously subjective but eventually you get to be my boss lol and get paid more
