Outside of direct access, more selective workforce, emphasis and behavior to follow and keep current with EBP, increased screening skills, and a movement for legitimacy and changing public perception as well as other things I've asked before, what has coursework and program structure done for those practicing in inpatient, HH, and SNF settings?

I ask this because that is where the exploding need is. I know that wound care has been picking up heavily and have heard about recognizing symptoms in HH that require referral to physician for treatment. How about inpatient and SNF though?

Does anyone else feel that the degree primarily is geared for an outpatient purpose? If not, what other benefits are there for the workforce that will be going to help those in inpatient neuro and general geriatrics?

Very curious to hear responses.
