Hi, I come from a cognitive science background (focusing on neuroscience) and work in IT consulting.
I'm looking at the 15-month post-bac at NU. How tough is it to get into the program? How have people managed working full-time and taking the evening classes?
Also, I'm wondering about letters of rec down the line, if/when applying for med programs. How do people plan on getting them?
My undergrad track was in line for a PhD so I know the importance of working in labs and getting to know the profs. How does this work for med school? Could I build these relationships through classes alone or would I need to join a lab?
Any help would really be appreciated.
