I'm 2nd year medical student from Europe( 6 years course) and very interested in psychiatry. I'm going to graduate in 2020 and have a few questions to ask:
1) What should I do- publications, what score on USMLE, rotations in USA(when exactly), what else??
2) I have read there is a tendency to reduce IMG from 2016 on. Is this true and what would be the situation in 2020 in your opinion?
Thank you very much.

The above should be sufficient to get you on a good start, but that would assume you have an MD from an outside US school. Since you are still a medical student, I would worry about getting that MD and doing well.

Or at least what the US will recognize as an MD (like an MBBS).
