I'm taking the exam in 2.5 weeks and I've already done Uworld 1.25 times. I've taken a few NBMEs and notice that I'm missing a lot of the easy questions because I'm thinking in UW mode ("it can't be THAT easy of a question"). I've been getting a lot of the hard/thinking questions right, which I definitely think UW helps with that thinking.

I'm debating on taking a break from UW questions and trying to go over FA more while doing more NBMEs/reviewing the questions.

For people who took the exam, did you feel the questions were asked in a way comparable to NBMEs? Or did you feel they were asked more like UW questions (in a trickier, less direct manner)?

I would say most of the questions were more comparable to the format of NBME questions. However, there were also a good handful of questions that required putting together information and reading lab values, etc., which UW did a much better job with. I would recommend doing both NBME and UW questions just so you are comfortable with both and can recognize which questions are the easy ones and which ones are actually harder ones.
