Hello,
I just have some questions, and maybe I should post this in another section since this Pre-Dental.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew of the clinical requirements for Temple, NYU, or Tufts? Things like how many root canals, crowns, bridges, extractions, etc.. must a student do before he/she can graduate. Or if someone can guide me in exactly what to ask teh dental schools, I would appreciate that as well.
I heard that NYUs clinic are old, is this true, or have they remodeled all the clinics? Also the cost of NYU, $45,000 a year, that's just a little too much for me. Tufts is just has much. Temple is $28,000 or so, which is a lot cheaper. They save a lot of money by having the students do all the lab work. Does NYU make there students do the lab work? But New York must be a nice place then Philadelphia?
I hope I get some feedback on the clinical aspects of this message. I personally am not after the big name like Penn or Harvard. I am not into research. I will let the PhDs have fun with that. My goal in becoming a dentist is excel in the care and treatment of my patience thus I am looking for a great clinical training based dental school
Thank you,
