Please can anyone tell me how detailed the mol bio requirement for the step are..for ego we need to know the exact structures of gene regulatory proteins like zinc finger and leucine zipper?i mean how detailed can the questions in mol biology,genetics and biochemistry get?

I think it is sufficient to know what a zinc finger or leucine zipper are.

A lot of mol bio questions are in the format of an experiment where you have to understand a procedure or predict an outcome.
