Quick advice on Quantitative reasoning again

People can't go into specifics about what is on the test. I know it's really hard not to pry, but I've seen quite a few posts lately asking recent testers to go into specifics. We really aren't allowed to do this. It could get both parties into trouble. 🙂

However, being familiar with the Math Destroyer should get you a 20+. I didn't fully master this study resource (by any stretch of the imagination) and still made a 21. I skipped the super hard stuff and never really did anything past the 8th practice test.

QR is sorta hard to gauge it seems. Since it is the very last thing, folks aren't performing optimally and scores tend to be lower than on Destroyer practice, but it seems to me that the actual DAT is a bit easier to compensate. I'm just going to hammer fundamentals, make sure I understand probability (including binomial and p tests) and have all of the trig functions, unit circle stuff and geometric formulas memorized. I've decided to stop stressing about QR because that should never decide if I make it in, and if it does, then forget it.

"We really liked you but you were weak on trig identities so we can't offer you a spot"...

Hm, you should still stress about it. It is just that, if you are good at math. You should try to maximize your score for qr to raise the AA. For me, I know reading isn't going help me do any of that !

Haha, I have no idea what you're saying here. I'm using DAT Destroyer Math and Math Destroyer, making sure I can quickly do all the problems, but I will not stress out about it.

How are you exposing yourself to math ? Chad's, Kaplan, or what ?

Chad's as a foundation, the charts/formulas in the two Destroyer books, Khan Academy for the basic trig stuff (unit circle, functions; it's been great) and Destroyer problems for the rest mostly.
