Where it asks you to "List any other, specifically community-service-type, programs in which you have participated". Do they just want a laundry list of things you've done? Also how detailed should I be with the description? 🙂

Personally, I only put I believe 2 items and a short description of each activity (1-2 sentences), if you have a laundry list, i'd say go for it dude... but don't get too crazy now, cause the more you put, the more they can ask on an interview... I actually found that question a bit difficult myself, since I don't work at an old age home or with the neighborhood crime watch and such.. Hope that helps tho...

thanks for the quick reply. i figure the more i put, it'll hopefully steer the conversation away from my low grades and DAT scores 😀

Don't regret!🙄

If I remember correctly they ask you to explain specifically what service you did and what it entailed...can't go wrong with more explanation, especially if your grades don't make your app. glow.

Can't hurt I guess in that scenario.... If you have plenty of community type work, then just gloss on that if you get an interview... You can use the interview time up discussing that, from what I read AZ is big on that stuff anyhow, so I think it will work in your benefit...Ofcourse there is no way around not discussing grades and the DAT, but atleast this way you can avoid a lengthy conversation about it if possible... Sounds like a plan to me...
