Quick FAFSA question

Alright, so on the FAFSA website it says that if you plan on being in school between fall of 2015 and june 30, 2016 you need to fill FAFSA out this year.

I plan on applying to medical school this upcoming summer of 2015 for 2016 matriculation. I know most med schools don't start until july or august of 2016, but I know that one of my top choices, MSUCOM, starts classes in June.

Do you guys think that it's necessary for me to fill out FAFSA this year instead of waiting until next year?

If you need fin aid for academic year of 2015-2016, you fill it out in 2015 but using tax information from 2014.

I think you are over thinking this. You can probably fill out the FAFSA if or when accepted to that one school. It isn't like there federal loan money runs out. Call that school and ask if you are really worried.

You will apply for fafsa next year. 2016-2017 aid year. Which you will fill out Jan. of 2016
