I graduated with a B.S in Neuroscience in 2010 after 4 years at UPitt. As a P1 student in the fall I still choose "3RD YR./JUNIOR " for "29. When you begin the 2011-2012 school year, what will be your grade level?" right?

And for "30. When you begin the 2011-2012 school year, what degree or certificate will you be working on?" do I pick "other/undecided" or "2nd bachelors degree" or what?

If you're going to start pharmacy school this fall you should choose 1st year professional. You'll be working on professional degree. A Pharm.D. is not a bachelor's degree.

I've heard of some schools that offer a bachelor's in pharmaceutical science after 2 years, or something along those lines, where they consider your two years of pre-reqs your freshman and sophomore years. Maybe that's what the OP was referencing? Even if that's the case for the OP's school, I'm still thinking you're correct though.

thanks the the response guys. I know what you mean, it is sort of insulting to think of the PharmD program as anything less than it is. Here is the quote from U Pitt in my acceptance letter

"Please keep in mind the following when completing financial aid forms:

-P1 and P2 of the PharmD curriculum are considered undergraduate level.
-Even though you are working towards your Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, it is your first undergraduate degree. Therefore, you would answer any questions pertaining to college level as third year or junior year. DO NOT indicate that you are working towards a doctorate or are in a graduate or professional school. The University does not recognize your status as a graduate."

So after reading your replies I guess I should indicate it as my second bachelors degree (though I doubt you get anything for that).

That is really insulting.👎

Yeah, what is up with this? I got my financial aid letter from Pitt and barely got what will cover half of tuition. Not understanding...

Someone will be getting a call from me.

On the plus side, this would typically come with the perk of lower tuition rates for those first two years, right?
