I have taken Biochemistry I for 3 credit hours at my main university. I want to retake and replace the grade by taking Principles of Biochemistry for 4 credit hours at another school.

Will the 2nd course replace my original course despite it having MORE credit hours?

Thank yall for replying in advance.

Yes. It's the other way that won't work

Sometimes the other way can work. If the course you're trying to replace has a 4 hour credit, which includes a 1 hour lab then AACOMAS breaks it down to a 3 hour lecture and 1 hour lab. If the lecture itself is 4 hours long and no lab, then the replacement method won't work, otherwise a separate 3 hour lecture and 1 hour lab can replace a 4 hour class if that 4 hour class has a 1 hour lab included. Called and confirmed with AACOMAS.
